We recognize that a healthy community is critical to maintaining a healthy economy. Rimrock Health Alliance supporters work together through collaboration in the efficient and appropriate use of our community’s health care services. We also encourage and support regional efforts and collaborations to advance our goals.

Our rural Central Oregon county enjoys a long history of self-reliance and hard work, dating to 1877 when our community first began in this beautiful high desert landscape of sagebrush and rimrock. The resolve of our community’s founders to make Crook County and Prineville a good place to call home still resonates with our residents today, as health care providers, businesses, social service agencies, schools and others work together to ensure that our community thrives … in all ways.

• Provider Recruitment and Retention
We’re working to help bring more providers to Crook County for Medicare, Medicaid and indigent patients

• Community Needs
We’ll coordinate and administer community projects to provide health and wellness education, childhood disease screening and prevention, behavioral health access programs and other community needs

• Health Information Exchange Development Support
As health care providers adopt Health Information Exchange, we’ll help guide the selection and implementation process to operate a community- and region-wide HIE

• Health Facility Strategy
Rimrock Health Alliance will help plan the health care facility strategy for the community as several critical health care providers replace aging buildings

• Medical Home Development
As a neutral organization with a commitment to high-quality, cost-effective care, we’ll help develop a community-based rural medical home model
